I am a long time user of the Apple Pro apps — Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Studio, Motion, Final Cut X, and all of the iLife apps. Apple lost a lot of support from myself and others when it stopped supporting Final Cut Studio. I have to admit I have grown to love Final Cut X, Motion, and Compressor but I now spend a lot of time with the Adobe Creative Suite.
The Creative Suite is not only powerful but affordable as a subscription service. Adobe has a real winner in this suite of applications covering every area of the creative process. While there is a learning curve because of the sheer number of applications, I find it makes learning fun. Here is a video that will get you excited about making the change.
No I am not giving up on Apple products, I just have more tools in the toolbox. I only wish I had about 12 hours a day to learn all of the applications.
The Narrowgate Foundation is the real deal. The participations are not “playing church”, they are constantly being changed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In a world that is constantly degrading the value of men and their relationships to women, the Narrowgate Foundation seeks to allow men to rise to heights not possible without the power of Jesus Christ. These young men have truly “sold out to the Gospel” by totally relying on the “Word” and a relationship with their Savior for guidance.
After working on this video I had a new appreciation of how it is possible for Jesus Christ to change a life. Bill and Stacy Spencer have two goals for all of the young men: 1. Who are you in Jesus Christ?, and 2. What does He want you to do? Bill provides an environment that allows this to happen. It was truly a life changing experience for me to witness the power of the Cross to transform young men into mighty men of God.
